Welcome to the South Wales Kit & Specialist Car Club

History of the Club

We have been in  existence for over 25 years, formerly in the guise of  "The South Wales Kit  Car Club", specialising primarily in the kit car scene. Over the past few years,  we have noticed a steady decline in kitcars - probably due to the increased cost  of building, and then registering a vehicle. We are therefore inviting all  members of the public with an interest in kit, specialist, competition, or  classic cars to come and join our club. The club used to meet in Bridgend,  however we feel that a move to having a South West, and South East meeting could  be the way forward.

The aim of the club is to bring together fellow  enthusiasts from South Wales and the rest of the Universe.
The South Wales Kit  & Specialist Car Club has a broad membership with interests in kit car building, renovation, shows and competing. All types of kit cars and specialist cars are represented from Cobras to Sherpleys to Westfields to Subaru Imprezas  and TVRs

Fund Raising

As well as the  normal club events we also like to feel that we help those less fortunate than  ourselves. Over the past 10 years, we have raised over £7000 for various  charities - Ty Hafan Childrens Hospice, Velindre Cancer care, and Children In  Need. We have achieved this by having various collections, membership donations,  sponsored head shave & sponsored fancy dress.
